Grease and Hyd. Control Module
Grease Injection Control Unit supplies a grease injection facility for use with all types of wireline applications.
The standard unit will supply grease to a Grease Injection Control Head and a Wireline Valve as well as supplying Hydraulic power to a Dual or Triple Wireline Valve, Tool Catcher, Tool Trap, Single or Dual Grease Head Pack Off or Line Wiper.

Wireline BOP
The wireline BOP is designed to provide a positive seal around Slickline or cable. This allows work to be performed under pressure, on surface equipment, when the line is still in the wellbore. The wireline valve is placed between the wellhead and lubricator assembly.
The wireline valve closure design consists of an hydraulic actuator assembly connected to each of the two ram assemblies. This permits hydraulic compression of the rams around the line from opposite sides. A seal is then made which contains well pressure below the rams.
Pressure across the rams is equalized through an integral equalizer assembly prior to hydraulically retracting the rams and opening the valve. Manual overrides are available to operate the rams in case of hydraulic failure.
Wireline valves are available with working pressure ratings up to 15000 PSI, for standard and sour environments. And can be single, dual and triple valve.
Other Pressure Control Tools
JAS Line Wiper is supplied with a cable protector funnel on top and a quick union. This is traditionally fitted above grease injection heads fitted with only a pack off.
Brass upper and lower packing adapters guide the cable through the rubber element, delivering the wiping effect. When retrieving tools from the well, the wiper seal is gently compressed to tighten against the cable hydraulically.
Elements are available to suit different well conditions JAS Grease Injection is designed to create a seal around a moving wireline, allowing intervention access to wells under pressure.
The Grease Injection is supplied with pin threaded connections top and bottom. The upper pin is 2″ line pipe for connection of a line wiper. The bottom connection can be mated to a quick union, or a ball check valve/tool catcher combination.
A hydraulic Tool Catcher is a safety device for installation below the grease injection head or slickline stuffing box.
